Logs and Coal for Sale in Great Missenden
Firewood delivered up the Misbourne valley from Amersham
Great Missenden sits just up the Misbourne valley from our saw mill in Amersham, and we deliver logs, kindling and coal to the village and the surrounding Chiltern hamlets, including Little Missenden and Prestwood. Country cottages and farmhouses with big inglenook fireplaces are exactly what our firewood is made for.
Mixed Logs in Builders Bags
Our large builders bags (about one cubic metre) are packed with a mix of hardwood and softwood logs. Hardwoods include Ash, Oak, Sycamore, Chestnut, Cherry, Beech and Silver Birch, while the softwoods are mainly pine, larch and spruce. Everything is seasoned for around 18 months to roughly 25% moisture.
Coal and Kindling Too
As well as logs, we sell bags of kindling to get your fire started, plus smokeless and house coal for a longer, hotter burn. You can add log baskets, log stores, axes and other accessories to the same order and have everything arrive together.
